Disassembly of the ashtray of the Mercedes E-Class

Model: Mercedes Classe E W211 - Years 2002-2009

Today's procedure will show us how to disassemble and replace the ashtray of the Mercedes E-Class, following these simple steps. First, we get into the cabin and start disassembling and removing the cover at the base of the gear lever, levering on the sides and disconnecting the electrical connector; then we unscrew the fixing screws of the ashtray, in order to remove it as well, as shown in the video. At this point, it will be possible to also remove the air conditioning controls if necessary; all that's left to do is reassemble everything, applying the reverse procedure!
