Removing Ashtray from Mercedes E-Class

Model: Mercedes Classe E W211 - Years 2002-2009

In today's video, you will see how to remove the ashtray from a Mercedes E-Class, although the process is very similar for many other types of cars. First, remove the shift lever trim by disconnecting it, or in other cases, the entire boot: this will create enough space to pull out the ashtray. Then, pull the ashtray out with some force and remove it. Disconnect the electrical cable for the cigarette lighter located at the back. At this point, install the new one by connecting the connector and reattach the shift boot.
