How to Put the Windshield Wipers of a Mercedes A-Class in Service Mode

In this video, you will see how to put the windshield wipers of your Mercedes A-Class (the procedure is the same for all models) in service position to change worn blades or for any type of maintenance needed on the wipers; they cannot be lifted manually because they are blocked by the hood. Turn on the ignition, then turn it off and open the driver's door; press the button located on the stalk of the wiper lever, to the left of the steering wheel, for three seconds: the wipers will automatically lift to a vertical position, allowing you to remove them from the glass. This is also useful if you need to wash the windshield.
