How to replace the battery of a Mercedes C-Class key

The key battery of a Mercedes C-Class model W204 needs to be replaced every year, in the luckiest cases every two years. For its replacement, we need a CW2032 battery. To replace the battery, we first need to remove the cover on the back of the remote control. To do this, we need to press the small button on the silver area. Once the cover of the remote control is removed, we can pull outwards the two side tabs to access the battery. We then remove the old battery and insert the new one, close the cover and test the operation of the remote control.
