How to replace the EGR valve of the Mercedes GLA

Model: Mercedes Gla MK 1, W156 - Years 2013-2019

When the engine starts to lose power and produce smoke from the exhaust and noises, it means that there is a malfunction. In some cases, the issue concerns the wear of the belt, in other cases it is the EGR valve that is the problem. On Mercedes GLA vehicles, to remove the valve it is necessary to open the front hood and then unscrew the nut that tightens the valve, using a Torx key. Once the valve is removed, we can proceed with cleaning it, with a simple degreaser you can clean and repair the valve without further issues. If the problem persists, replace the valve.
