How to reset the oil change indicator light on the Mercedes C-Class W205

In this article, we will show you how to reset the oil change indicator light on the Mercedes C-Class W205. This procedure is necessary after having the oil changed because the indicator light will not reset automatically. To reset the light, you need to press the ignition button once, then simultaneously press the back button and the PAD button on the left side of the steering wheel for 2 seconds. A menu will appear, release the buttons and press them again, when the new menu appears, release the buttons. Now, use the PAD button to navigate to the ASSYST PLUS option, press the button to select it, then press the ignition button again. Select the full service option, then from the menu that appears, select the confirm service option, choose the type of engine oil used, and confirm the reset. At this point, the procedure will be complete, so press the back button to exit the menu and return to the main screen.
