How to replace the battery of a Mercedes E-Class?

To replace the battery of a Mercedes E-Class, start by opening the trunk, as the battery is usually located in the rear compartment. Once the trunk is open, lift the bottom cover panel to access the compartment where the battery is housed. Before starting the replacement, make sure to turn off the vehicle and remove the key to avoid any electrical risks. Loosen the negative battery cable first using a wrench, then proceed with the positive cable. Once the cables are disconnected, remove the securing bracket holding the battery in place. At this point, you can lift the battery out of the compartment. Be careful, as the battery can be quite heavy. Take the new battery and insert it into the same housing, making sure it is properly positioned. Secure the safety bracket again to keep the battery stable during driving. Reconnect the positive cable first and then the negative one, making sure they are tightly secured. Finally, put the trunk cover panel back in place. After completing the replacement, start the vehicle to verify that everything is working correctly and there are no power issues.
