How do you reset the Service indicator light on the Mercedes CLK?

Model: Mercedes Clk W209, A209, C209 - Years 2002-2010

It will be possible to make the Service light completely disappear from the instrument panel of the Mercedes CLK by first turning on the instrument panel: once it has been turned on, you can navigate the menu that will be displayed on the panel by pressing the arrow buttons on the left side of the steering wheel. Once you have found the maintenance option, you can hold down the button located on the left side of the panel: this way the light will disappear completely and then you can turn off the instrument panel by turning the key.
