In the following guide, we will explain the steps you need to follow in order to complete the replacement of the battery located inside the key of your Mercedes E-Class W212 (2011). First of all, remove the emergency key located inside the protective cover, then use it to remove the back cover and gain access to the battery you want to replace.

At this point, remove the old battery and replace it with a new one of the same type.

Finally, reassemble the back cover correctly and you are done.
