Detailed instructions - Open the hood, detach the three metal clips of the battery cover. Lift the cover to access the battery compartment. Unscrew the negative terminal nut to disconnect it from the battery. Now remove the positive terminal and its cable. Get a wrench to reach the battery mounting nuts on the support bracket to unscrew them. Grasp the battery and lift it out of its place, first removing the safety wire. Keep the two cables away before reinserting the new battery. Position it in the compartment ensuring its stability, insert the safety wire, and begin tightening the battery on the horizontal bracket. Finally, position and tighten the cables to their respective terminals.

How to Reset the Tyre Pressure Warning Light on a Kia Sportage?

To reset the tyre pressure warning light on a Kia Sportage, simply inflate the tyres to the recommended pressure: for this model, the recommended inflation pressure for each tyre is 2.4 bar and is indicated on the sticker affixed to the driver’s door pillar. Once the tyre pressures have been restored to the recommended value, turn on the ignition to check that the new pressures are registered by the sensors: after a few seconds, you will notice that the warning light will turn off.
