Detailed instructions - In this video, we see how to reset the service light on a 2011 Mercedes C200: turn on the ignition and press the menu button until the mileage appears, then scroll to "trip" and press the phone button within 5 seconds, then immediately press "ok". Hold down these two buttons until a menu appears with "assyst plus" among other options, which we will select. In the submenu, select "full service". The display will list the services to be performed, scroll through the list until "confirm service" is selected and confirm with "ok". Confirm the type of oil used, then "service carried out" will be highlighted: confirm "yes". The display will respond with "no take back", confirm and use the up arrow to return to the mileage. Turn off the ignition, Service reset.

How to Adjust the Handbrake on a BMW 1 Series?

To adjust the handbrake on a BMW 1 Series, use a tool to pry off the leather cover that wraps around the base of the handbrake lever. Once this cover is removed, you will be able to locate the spring that regulates the handbrake tension. At this point, adjust the nut located at the base of the spring: tightening the nut will make the handbrake firmer and reduce the lever's travel. Conversely, loosening the nut will decrease the handbrake's firmness and increase the lever's travel.
