How to reset the service indicator light on the Mercedes CLA

Let's see how to reset the service light for a 2021 Mercedes CLA: turn on the ignition, make sure you are on the main "trip" screen on the dashboard; press both side buttons on the steering wheel (the ones with the three dashes, both right and left) for 5 seconds. Release the buttons: the workshop menu will appear. Using the arrow buttons on the steering wheel, select "assyst plus" and choose "full service"/"confirm service". Choose the type of oil used, select "carried out" and then "confirm": "full service complete" will appear. Turn off the ignition and wait for about 30 seconds, then turn it back on to verify that the procedure has actually turned off the light.
