How to reset the airbag light on a Mercedes

Today we will explain how to reset the airbag light on a Mercedes gasoline vehicle. To perform this operation, we need to connect the diagnostic computer to the OBD2 port of the vehicle. We select the car model and then select the "configuration" option from the configuration menu. Various options will appear, from which we should select the "airbag" option. From the airbag menu, we select the "reset" option and from the reset menu, we can check why the light is active. If the problem is related to a completely discharged battery, simply select the "enter" option to continue with resetting the control module. After 10 seconds, the light will be reset and it will be possible to disconnect the computer and restart the dashboard. With the same scanner, it is also possible to reset other lights that may have turned on along with the airbag light. The procedure is similar, only for the engine light we must select the "engine maintenance" option.
