How to manually open the hood of the Mercedes CLK

Today we will explain how to manually open the Mercedes CLK convertible top when the hydraulic mechanism is not working. To manually open the roof, we need to get inside the car and pull the central lever to push the roof upwards. We open the trunk and turn the internal lever to release the hydraulic lever. We use a 10 mm wrench to unscrew the nut located between the seats and open the hood. We insert the bottom part of the hood and push the roof inward. We start the car and head out on the road. To close the convertible top, we will need to perform the steps in reverse.
