Does the hood give us opening problems? Let's see how it opens manually. We open the tailgate of the luggage compartment: with a screwdriver remove the covering cloth on the sides of the luggage compartment, then unscrew the nuts placed on the soft top opening motors (if present) with a fixed or socket wrench. We unscrew the central pin of the hood on the upper side of the same. Once the nuts have been unscrewed, let's move the soft top back manually (as in the video). We open the soft top manually from the car body. We repair the electrical system of the soft top or make it possible to open it always manually.

How to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video.
