How to Manually Open the Roof on a Mercedes CLK

Is the roof giving you opening problems? Here’s how to open it manually. Open the boot: use a screwdriver to remove the trim panel on the sides of the boot, then, using a spanner or socket wrench, unscrew the nuts on the roof opening motors (if present). Unscrew the central pin of the roof on the upper side. Once the nuts are removed, manually move the roof back (as shown in the video). Open the roof manually from the vehicle body. Repair the electrical system of the roof or ensure that it can always be opened manually.
