How the Dual-Zone Climate Control Works on the Mercedes GLC X253

Model: Mercedes Glc C253, X253, MK 1 - Years 2015-2022

The dual-zone automatic climate control has 5 buttons on each side plus one central button for the menu. The buttons on the driver's side are */- temperature; air distribution (windshield, face, feet); A/C (turns the compressor on and off); AUTO (for automatic adjustment) and OFF to turn off the climate control. The buttons on the right side are +/- for temperature; air distribution on the right side; SYNC to synchronize the temperature with the left side; AUTO and OFF to turn off the right side. The climate control automatically adjusts fan speed, distribution, and recirculation based on sensors (outside temperature, solar, humidity). The dehumidification function activates when necessary, even with A/C off.
