How to Reset the Oil Maintenance Reminder on a Mercedes Vito from the Menu

After an oil change on the Mercedes Vito, the maintenance reminder can be reset directly from the instrument panel. With the vehicle stationary, engage the handbrake, turn the key to the on position, and leave the engine off. Using the arrow buttons on the left side of the steering wheel, navigate the central display to the screen showing the total kilometres, then, following the video instructions, use the same controls to enter the ASSYST Plus workshop menu. In the service menu, scroll to "Maintenance Information", then select "General Maintenance" and confirm with the OK button. The display shows a warning such as "Irreversible operation, proceed?" with two choices: "Stop" or "Confirm". To proceed with the reset, choose "Confirm" and press OK again. At this point, the screen displays the type of intervention, for example, "Service A - confirm with OK": press OK again to record the service. The system updates the maintenance interval, and the service spanner indicator is reset. If an error message such as "maintenance not performed" appears, the video suggests repeating the procedure from the ASSYST Plus menu and, if necessary, briefly starting the engine before checking that the maintenance warning on the Mercedes Vito has been effectively cleared.
