To replace the key fob battery on a Mercedes EQE SUV, slide the key out from the top of the fob: this will allow you to use it as a lever inside its housing to detach the panel on the back. The underlying battery can now be located, and you can pry it out of its slot with an object. Now insert the new battery to secure it properly: then reattach the panel on the back of the fob and slide the key back into the top.
