What is the purpose of the side flap of the Mercedes EQE?

In this video, we can see what the small flap on the left front fender is for, which is not the charging port, but the cap for the windshield washer fluid. This is actually the only fluid that requires frequent maintenance in an electric car, aside from the brake fluid. The charging port, both AC and DC, is located on the rear bumper, in the same spot where we are used to finding the fuel filler neck on internal combustion engine vehicles. This architectural choice is common to many Mercedes EVs (EQS, EQE, EQC) and serves to centralize the connections, maintain a clean design on the sides, and follow user habits (at the back right) as in diesel or gasoline models. Mercedes made this choice to prevent people from searching in vain for the windshield washer cap under a front hood.
