How to Register TPMS IDs on a Mercedes-Benz C-Class W205

Model: Mercedes Classe C W205 - Years 2014-2021
Part:

Video tutorial
Detailed instructions - Let's see how to register the TPMS sensor IDs on a Mercedes-Benz C-Class: connect the vehicle to an external power source to ensure stable voltage during the operation. Verify that you have a stable Internet connection and that the Mercedes-Benz software on the diagnostic tool (iSCAN) is updated to the latest version. Before installing the new sensor, note its ID, which is found on a paper label attached to the sensor or printed directly on the sensor itself. Access the ADAS diagnostic group and read the TPC (Tire Pressure Control) data stream. From here, extract the IDs of all sensors currently mounted on the vehicle. For safety, email yourself the ID report to keep a copy for reference. Using the iSCAN tool, access the TPMS sensor registration function. Enter the new ID of the sensor just installed. You must also enter all other IDs of already present sensors (even if they have not been changed), as the control unit needs the complete list. After entering all IDs, start the synchronization procedure and verify that the control unit correctly recognizes the new sensors. Check on the vehicle display that the tire pressures are shown for each wheel, then after disconnecting the tool, perform a short road test to ensure the TPMS system is functioning correctly.

How to Adjust the Handbrake on a BMW 1 Series?

To adjust the handbrake on a BMW 1 Series, use a tool to pry off the leather cover that wraps around the base of the handbrake lever. Once this cover is removed, you will be able to locate the spring that regulates the handbrake tension. At this point, adjust the nut located at the base of the spring: tightening the nut will make the handbrake firmer and reduce the lever's travel. Conversely, loosening the nut will decrease the handbrake's firmness and increase the lever's travel.
