The message on the instrument panel indicating a problem with the aforementioned alternator may be related to an intermittent and temporary fault, so it is not necessarily a structural defect. Therefore, you can attempt a complete reset by disconnecting the 12-volt battery that powers the vehicle. To do this, disconnect the negative terminal, which is black, wait a few seconds, and then reconnect it.
