Replacing the Alternator on a Mercedes C-Class

Is the alternator out of order? Let's see how to remove the alternator on a Mercedes C-Class. Open the hood, disconnect the battery terminals for safety. Remove the various hoses to access the alternator belt for removal. Lift the car on a column lift, remove the alternator from underneath its dedicated space (bolts on the sides). Unscrew and take out the alternator from the engine compartment. Install a new part with the same specifications as the one removed. At the end of the maintenance, reconnect the battery terminals and test the operation of the new part.
