Brake Pad Replacement

Lift the vehicle on a lift (or with a jack) and remove the wheel corresponding to the repair. Using a punch of appropriate diameter and a hammer, extract the central locking pin of the pads (if necessary, spray some penetrating oil), remove the retaining spring, and extract the pads. Pry between the disc and the brake caliper to retract the caliper piston and create the necessary space to accommodate the new pads. Clean the brake caliper thoroughly, then insert the new pads, position the retaining spring, and reinstall the locking pin, passing it over the spring.
