Removing the front seat upholstery of a Mercedes is very simple. The operation can be carried out on board the car, without removing the entire seat, and does not require tools. In fact, it is sufficient to pull the lower edge of the upholstery down with your hands. This can be easier if you sit on the seat to loosen the tension in the fabric a little. Once the first few cm have been unhooked, it will be easier to unhook all the rest of the upholstery on the four sides of the seat. However, attention must be paid to the sheet metal edges where the edge of the cladding fits in order not to get cut. Disassembling and reassembling the cover should take no more than fifteen minutes. The process is similar for many other Mercedes seats.
