Removing Front Seat Upholstery

Removing the front seat upholstery of a Mercedes is very simple. This operation can be done in the car without removing the entire seat and requires no tools. Just pull down on the lower edge of the upholstery with your hands. It may be easier if you sit on the seat to loosen the tension of the fabric a bit. Once the first few inches are released, it will be easier to detach the rest of the upholstery from all four sides of the seat. Be careful around the metal edges where the upholstery fits to avoid cuts. Removing and reinstalling the upholstery should take no more than fifteen minutes. The procedure is similar for many other Mercedes seats.
