Removing Water Pump on Mercedes C

Removing the water pump? Let's see how to remove and replace it in the engine compartment of the Mercedes. Open and lift the hood, disconnect the engine cover, remove the air duct hose: disconnect the hose connected to the radiator using pliers (lift the car). Use a wrench to loosen the tensioner pulley and slide the belt off. Use a socket wrench to remove the tensioner pulley mounting bolt, then remove the water pump. Install the new water pump, the tensioner, and the belt, and tighten everything with the socket wrench. Test the operation at the end of the installation.
