How to Reset the Service Light in a Mercedes C-Class

To reset the service light in a Mercedes C-Class, get in the vehicle and insert the key to turn on the instrument cluster without starting the engine. Use the buttons on the steering wheel to display the total mileage on the instrument cluster display. Then, press and hold the call answer and OK buttons on the steering wheel simultaneously for a few seconds until the workshop menu opens. Use the directional controls to select 'Assyst Plus' or 'Service' and access the maintenance option. Choose the reset option and confirm. Wait for the operation to complete, then turn off and turn on the cluster to verify the reset.
