In this tutorial, you will see how to reset the automatic transmission in a Mercedes E-Class. This operation is extremely simple and quick, and can be performed as a troubleshooting step or after a change of ownership.

First, enter the cabin and insert the key, leaving it in the initial position. Next, press the accelerator pedal all the way down, turn on the instrument cluster at the same time, and hold the pedal in position for at least 15 seconds.

At this point, turn off the ignition, exit the vehicle, wait 2 minutes, and drive a few miles using your desired driving style.
