How to Remove the Center Dashboard

Model: Mercedes Classe C W202 - Years 1993-2000

The following video explains how to remove the center dashboard on a Mercedes C-Class. Before proceeding, remember to engage the parking brake since the operations must be performed with the gear lever in neutral. Disconnect and lift the panel at the base of the gear lever and disconnect the wiring. Remove the two screws securing the safety panel in front of the lever and take it out. Remove the two screws securing the dashboard at the front (in front of the gear lever) and the two screws securing it at the rear (behind the gear lever). Finally, remove the two screws located inside the compartment under the armrest. This way, you can remove the center dashboard.
