The handbrake adjustment on the Mercedes C-Class can be done by loosening the screws that secure the rear seat bench to its housing: this way it will be possible to access the components located in the lower part. Here there will be the small central panel that needs to be removed to locate the handbrake mechanism: this can now be adjusted by loosening or tightening the bolt here.

Loosening the bolt will make the handbrake softer, on the other hand, tightening it will make it harder.
