Replacing the Key Battery on a Mercedes CLK

Need to replace a flat battery in a Mercedes key? Let’s see how to disassemble the CLK remote key. Take your ignition remote and extract the metal key. Once the metal key is removed, insert it into the plastic remote and press inside. Once the battery holder is released from inside the key, you can pull it out. Use a small screwdriver to extract the worn battery and replace it with a new one of the same type. Reassemble the battery holder in your remote by pressing on the key case until you hear it click into place. Check the key's functionality.
