The following steps will show us the process of disassembling and replacing the battery of the Mercedes CLK. First, we open the rear hatch of the trunk and start lifting the platform to access the battery compartment, located next to the spare tire; then we unscrew the battery bracket screw, using a socket wrench with extension, and disconnect both battery terminals (positive and negative), as shown in the video. We remove and replace the battery with the new one, of the correct type and with the same amperage, inserting it in the correct direction.
