Replacing the Remote Key Battery on a Mercedes CLK

In this video tutorial, we will see how to disassemble and replace the battery in the remote key of a first-generation Mercedes CLK. Take your remote in hand and first slide the side button to extract the key from the remote: then use a lever to remove the internal part of the remote, pulling it out and removing the old battery. At this point, replace it with the new one (a 2025 type battery) and insert it in the correct orientation: then reassemble the battery inside the remote and finally reinsert the key back into it!
