Removing Instrument Cluster on Mercedes E-Class W124

Unlike almost all car models produced today, removing the instrument cluster on the Mercedes E-Class W124 is really simple. As you can see in the video, just gently pull the cluster with your hands. If you have difficulty, use a plastic trim tool or a small flathead screwdriver, inserting it into the gap between the cluster and the air vents. Pull the cluster out enough to disconnect the rear cables. Follow the reverse procedure for installation, reconnecting the cables and properly seating the cluster.
