How to Reset the "Service" Light on a Mercedes M-Class

Model: Mercedes Classe M W163 - Years 1997-2005

Before you can start, sit in the driver's seat of your Mercedes M-Class. Begin by activating the instrument cluster, then press the left button inside the cluster twice. After that, turn off the instrument cluster. Once done, press and hold the same button, and while doing so, turn the instrument cluster back on. At this point, continue to hold the button until an audible signal activates, and then release the button. Once you complete this last step, you will have successfully reset it.
