How to Remove the Exterior Rearview Mirror of a Mercedes E-Class

Before you start, open the front door of your Mercedes E-Class. Begin by prying off and removing the side cover of the door panel to access the connectors for the exterior rearview mirror. Next, disconnect these connectors, then fully close the rearview mirror. This will expose the screws that secure the mirror to the door. Proceed to unscrew and remove the mounting screws. Once you complete this step, you can remove the side mirror, and you will have finished the disassembly.
