How do you remove the radio from a Mercedes C-Class? Let's see how to take out the radio from your vehicle. First, remove the trim that runs along the dashboard where the center air vent is located. Once the air vents are removed, unscrew the mounting screws in the space where the air vents were installed using a screwdriver. Pull the radio out by hand and disconnect the wires (for power and the antenna). To install the new radio, reverse the disassembly steps. Secure the new head unit in the dashboard: use an adapter for non-original radios.
