Where is the Auxiliary Battery Located on the Mercedes E-Class?

This video clearly shows all the steps necessary to replace the auxiliary battery and the exact location where it is found. The auxiliary battery is smaller than the main battery (similar to a motorcycle battery) and is located in the trunk under the lower carpet. The steps to follow are very simple: once you remove the trunk cover, use a 10 mm hex wrench to loosen the two terminals of the positive and negative poles; then, using a 10 mm wrench, preferably a ratchet socket for convenience, remove the clamp that holds the battery in place. At this point, by positioning the new battery and following the steps in reverse, you will have replaced the auxiliary battery in your Mercedes E-Class.
