Replacing the timing belt is a delicate operation, advisable only for experienced individuals. Obtain the vehicle's maintenance manual, replacement belts, tensioner pulleys, tensioners, the belt installation diagram, and special tools. Start by removing the cover that needs to be taken off. Using a wrench and the appropriate tool, lock the pulley and loosen the tensioner. Leverage the tensioner to relieve the tension and remove the belt. Remove the bolts from the two tensioner supports and take them out. Replace the pulleys and tensioners with the new parts, ensuring all components are reassembled correctly. Install the tensioners and new belts following the assembly diagram. Reattach the cover.
