Removing Door Handle on Mercedes A-Class

Today, you will see how to remove the door handle on a Mercedes A-Class, a really simple operation. Open the door and unscrew the side T20 Torx screw. Done! Now you can remove the short part of the handle, the one with the lock. To remove the long part, you won’t need to unscrew anything; it will come off by hand (only after removing the piece with the lock). To do this, pull with a bit of force outward and toward the rear of the car (so backward) as shown in the video. It will detach from its housing, being held in place only by plastic clips.
