Removing the Outer Handle of Mercedes A180 W169

Removing the outer door handle is very easy and does not require removing the door panel. Once the door is open, along the inner side, at the height of the handle base, you can easily find a rubber plug. Remove this plug to access the handle mounting screw and then unscrew it without fully removing it (this is a fastening screw). Once the handle is free, first remove the outer fixed part (the capsule-like piece) and then slide the longer movable part backward to complete the removal.
