Reset the Service Light on Mercedes E-Class

Model: Mercedes Classe E W211 - Years 2002-2009
Part: Service warning light

Insert the key and turn it to position one, where the instrument cluster lights up but the engine does not start. Use the arrows on the left side of the steering wheel to scroll through the various sections of the menu on the instrument cluster, and the buttons on your right to enter those sections. Press the button located just below the instrument cluster on your left three times. Turn off the ignition and turn it back on to verify that the reset was successful. Only perform the reset procedure if you have actually completed the routine maintenance of changing filters and topping off fluids.
