First, remove the number plate and the number plate holder from your vehicle by unscrewing the fixing screws; this way, you can attempt to manually open the rear lock in case of emergency.

At this point, create a hole to access the lock pin, allowing you to press it and unlock the boot lid, as shown in the video; all that’s left is to replace the lock!

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?
