Mercedes Classe A - Video tutorial

Model: Mercedes Classe A W169 - Years 2004-2012
Part: Cockpit heating cock
Operation: How to replace the heating resistor of a Mercedes A-Class

Let's start by removing the plastic cover under the door of the glove compartment, simply by disengaging it. After that we will have to move the carpet just enough to be able to reach the resistance of the heating. We then proceed with removing it from its housing, and then connect the plug connected to it. By doing so we will have removed the defective resistor. To mount the new resistor we will simply have to follow the steps in reverse. Once the new resistance has been mounted and after having closed everything, we will have successfully completed the replacement.

Let's see below how it is possible to reset the low tire pressure signal on the car: first of all it is necessary to check the correct tire pressure by comparing it with the pressures reported in the use and maintenance manual. After that, turn on the ignition and locate the command on the right side of the steering wheel at the top that allows you to access the on-board computer menu, then select the car symbol, after which select the "up arrow" command up to that the indication "tire pressure" appears on the display. At that point, press the "Ok" control on the steering wheel and keep it pressed to reset the signal.
