Start by removing the plastic cover located under the glove compartment door by simply prying it off. Then, move the carpet enough to access the heating element. Proceed to remove it from its housing, and then disconnect the connector attached to it. This will remove the faulty heating element.

To install the new heating element, simply follow the steps in reverse. Once the new heating element is installed and everything is closed up, you will have successfully completed the replacement.

How to Activate the Disabled TRC on the Toyota Yaris?

As the video clearly shows, disabling or activating the traction control (TRC or ESP) on the Toyota Yaris is very simple. By default, the traction system activates every time the vehicle is started. To disable it, simply press the button depicting a skidding car located in the centre of the vehicle where the controls are, such as the hazard lights and the radio, but near the handbrake.
