How to Replace the Heating Element in a Mercedes A-Class

Model: Mercedes Classe A W169 - Years 2004-2012
Part: Heater control valve

Start by removing the plastic cover located under the glove compartment door by simply prying it off. Then, move the carpet enough to access the heating element. Proceed to remove it from its housing, and then disconnect the connector attached to it. This will remove the faulty heating element. To install the new heating element, simply follow the steps in reverse. Once the new heating element is installed and everything is closed up, you will have successfully completed the replacement.
