Battery Replacement on the Mercedes S-Class

If you need to replace the battery on this vehicle, know that it is located in the trunk. To access it, lift and remove the cargo floor. Underneath, you will find the battery secured with a metal plate, which you need to remove the fastening nuts from. Then, disconnect the negative terminal clamp, followed by the positive terminal clamp. Extract the battery, take the new one, and place it in the housing. Reattach the positive terminal clamp first, then the negative, secure the metal plate nuts, and reposition the cargo floor.
