Battery Replacement on Mercedes S-Class

The battery on the Mercedes S-Class is located in the bottom of the trunk. Remove the two screws that secure the carpet and pull it out by the handle. Also, remove the cover under the mat, and there you have it, the battery! Unscrew the fastening nuts that anchor the battery and unscrew (and thus disconnect) the two terminals, remembering to always disconnect the negative terminal first, followed by the positive. Pull the battery out of its tray and reverse the process to install the new battery. As you can see, this is a simple task that anyone can do.
