To open the hood of a Mercedes A-Class, position yourself on the driver's side to find the orange lever next to the pedals. Locate it and pull it down. Now move to the front of the hood, where a gap will appear due to the lever's release. From here, you will be able to see the yellow tab that will allow you to open the hood. Proceed by inserting a hand into the gap to feel the small tab. Simply slide your finger along the flange to trigger the release that will allow the hood to open.
