How to Open the Hood of a Mercedes A-Class

In this video, you will see how to open the hood of a Mercedes A-Class. Enter the cabin and sit in the driver's seat. In the pedal area, above, you will see a red lever. Pull it all the way, as shown at minute 0:10. At this point, go to the front of the hood, which will be slightly raised; locate the release latch, found in the center near the car emblem, and move it to the side. This will allow you to fully open the hood. Remove the prop rod from its holder, lift it, and secure it in the designated hook, and the operation will be complete.
