Mercedes Classe M - Video tutorial
Model: Mercedes Classe M
W163
- Years 1997-2005 The transfer case is located along the transmission, approximately in the center of the vehicle, in correspondence with the central torsion bar (it would be more appropriate to lift the vehicle on a bridge to perform this operation, however it is high enough to be able to operate also at ground): therefore start by disassembling the bar itself by unscrewing the relative fixing pins; disconnect the transmission from the distributor flanges by unscrewing the relative fixing pins; then move on to the fixing pins of the heat cost allocator itself to the gearbox: it is suggested to support the heat cost allocator with a jack during the disassembly phase.

Frequently Asked QuestionsHow to replace the AdBlue tank on Peugeot 3008In order to replace the AdBlue tank on the car it is necessary to know that it is located above the diesel tank and therefore under the rear trunk floor and to access it it is necessary: first of all lift the car on the deck, then remove the lower metal protective casing of the tank and under it we will find the diesel tank. Then proceed to disassemble the tank with the help of a forklift to support it. Once the diesel tank has been freed and lowered, above it we will find the small AdBlue tank. by ScegliAuto More videos
