How to Replace the Crankshaft Position Sensor on a Mercedes E-Class?

To replace the crankshaft position sensor on a Mercedes E-Class, open the hood to access the engine compartment. The crankshaft position sensor is located on the right side of the engine block and can be removed from its housing by unscrewing the bolts and disconnecting the connector attached to it. Once the old sensor is freed, you can pull it out of its housing and install a new one. This should be connected to the connector and secured in place with the appropriate screws.
