To adjust the brightness of the instrument cluster in your Mercedes A-Class, if you've searched desperately in your owner's manual without finding anything, and fiddled with the infotainment buttons and those on the console without success, here’s the solution. Under the speedometer, there is a button/dial that, when turned to the right, increases the brightness of the entire cluster, and when turned to the left, decreases it. Sometimes the solutions are right at your fingertips and so simple that when you discover them, you feel a bit foolish.
